In "The Great War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea," "Archives" will present a unique narrative style and exclusive, precious archival materials to comprehensively interpret the historical significance and profound importance of the Korean War. The program begins with the major decision made by the Chinese Communist Party, represented by Mao Zedong, to "resist U.S. aggression and defend the country," using authoritative and accurate historical facts as its basis. It will provide a panoramic view of the historical progression of the Korean War, showcasing the bravery, fearlessness, and self-sacrifice of the Chinese People's Volunteers in achieving victory, while also promoting patriotism and revolutionary heroism. Today, more than half a century after thesmoke of gunpowder of this war between the weak and the strong has dissipated, "Archives" will look back on this history and lead viewers to revisit the great victory of the Korean War. The series is divided into six episodes, starting with the correct decision made by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, represented by Mao Zedong, to "resist U.S. aggression and defend the country," after considering various factors such as the global landscape, international politics, and national interests. It will then reveal Mao Zedong's strategic thinking and military ideas, as well as the strategic and tactical maneuvers of the Chinese People's Volunteers, led by Peng Dehuai, to showcase the patriotism and spirit of sacrifice of the volunteers. The series will also highlight the positive impact of the victory of the Korean War on the economic construction, development, and peaceful and stable domestic environment of the new China, as well as its influence on the anti-imperialist and anti-hegemonic struggles for national independence and liberation among the peoples of the Third World. Through the six episodes, the series will depict a grand and sweeping historical landscape, revealing the new international relations that emerged after the victory of the war. What little-known choices did Mao Zedong and the Central Committee make during the crucial eighteen days? What are the moving stories that unfolded during battles such as the Battle of Songgufeng, the three bombings of the Water Gate Bridge, and the "unbreakable steel supply line"? How far-reaching was the impact of the victory in the Korean War? And what is the relationship between the series of major international events that occurred after the victory of the Korean War and the victory itself?
