Video information
A six-year-old child couldn't sleep because he learned at school that cardiac arrest can lead to death, and his mother discussed whether to be honest with him with the teacher. This personal work is based on vague childhood memories, and under the alternation of reality and fiction, a new awareness of death begins to destroy innocence. The film uses vibrant wide-screen shots to depict the emotional world of the mother and son, and the meticulous composition evokes the paintings of the Italian Renaissance. The film won the Golden Bear Award for Best Short Film at the 2017 Berlin International Film Festival.
