Video information
This documentary is the second part of a documentary series directed by Michael Apted, which began filming in 1964. In 1964, Michael Apted filmed a documentary for the BBC in the UK called "7 Up," interviewing fourteen seven-year-old children from different social classes in Britain. Some of them came from orphanages, while others were from upper-class families. Every seven years after that, Apted would revisit these children, listening to their dreams and discussing their lives. Seven years later, the once innocent children had just grown up. They were still naive as they first encountered the world, and their faces remained youthful and unpolished in front of the camera. This was the first step of their long journey through life. Seven years later, director Michael Apted once again pointed his camera at the lives of theseSeveral. children, determined to create a documentary about the lives of British people and Western culture.
