Ten contestants from previous seasons of "Alone" return for the fifth season, this time not in Vancouver Island, Canada, nor in South America. Instead, they venture to the remote and frigid edge of Siberia in Mongolia. This TV show is known for its extreme challenges, as volunteers must carry only a small backpack with 10 tools of their choice and survive in harsh and dangerous environments. Their sole mission is to stay alive. They must not only battle the elements and the wilderness but also confront fierce grizzly bears. The contestant who survives the longest will win a prize of $500,000.
