In the vast expanse of life, who does not face hardships? Yet, there are always those who refuse to give up. Driven by a faint hope for future happiness, they strive with all their might to confront the various difficulties in life. The documentary series "Heavenly Timing: The Year of Wuxu" takes six different life scenes across China's diverse geographical coordinates as its observational entry points. On the timeline of the "24 Solar Terms," it employs a close-up, fully documentary-style shooting approach to vividly record the lives of these most ordinary Chinese people over the course of a year, as they navigate the unprecedented challenges of a transformative era. In the face of traditional family, kinship, emotions, and personal dreams clashing with external environments, they forge ahead. In the Year of Wuxu 2018, they confront fierce storms, natural disasters, economic hardships, parental disappointment, and the pressures of reality, pushing forward with their own strength. Their lives are ordinary, without dramatic turns or heroic cries. They simply live authentically in the real world, for themselves and for their families. --------------------------------- Producer: Zhang Fenglan, Sun Zhonghuai Supervisor: Li Li, Ma Yankun Executive Producers: Guo Meiqing, Chen Xiaoyu Chief Planner: Wu Qi, Wang Juan Chief Director: Wu Qi Producer: Liao Ming, Zhu Lexian Executive Producer: Liao Ming, Zhao Yijun, Xu Shaopei
